Synopsis:
Frederic, a young man who was to be apprenticed to a ship's pilot, was mistakenly apprenticed to a pirate due to his hard-of hearing nursemaid, Ruth. Upon completion of this twenty-first year, Frederic announces that his sense of duty calls him to rid the seas of these rather simple scoundrels. Frederic and Ruth leave the pirates and return to shore where they encounter the beautiful young daughters of Major-General Stanley. The Pirate King, who is hurt by Frederic's departure arrives with his pirates and captures the girls.
